OK so I haven't posted for a while I've just been busy. my roommates and I decided to do the national novel writing month so any writing I did this past month was on a novel that will never see the light of day (and I'm OK with that because my story was just for me). This month has been an interesting one let me tell you.
We'll start off with the pantless boy. So my step dad was in Seattle for work and my mom decided while he was gone she would come hang out with us. We were having fun talking with her and doing girl stuff when someone knocked on our door. It was our friend from apartment 29 (we also nicknamed him 29 at the beginning of the semester so that's what were gonna call him in this post) He was doing his laundry and forgot to bring detergent with him and since we live across from the laundry room he figured he would come see if we would give him some soap. The funny part is he wasn't wearing pants. He had a lava lava on (if you don't know what that is it's a skirt-like thing islanders wear) but you could easily see his underwear when he moved. That night turned out more interesting than my mother was prepared for. She never expected to have a pantless boy come and hangout in our apartment.
Other adventures with 29 have happened since then as well. He usually comes over and hangs out occasionally playing dress up. He tried on a pair of my roommates shoes and a hat and made a Beard out of paper. He even posed for pictures.
Other interesting things have happened as well.
So we live in a highly LDS populated community and we go to a school that at one time was a church owned school so we have certain rules in our apartment about not having members of the opposite sex in the apartment after midnight and we really can't let them sleep over. We're usually good about following those rules but the other night there was a dance and a roommates "Friend" (they're sorta in the starting to date phase of the relationship) came down to go to the dance with her. He had to drive two hours and he decided after he got here that he didn't want to make the drive twice in one day so we talked to some guy friends about him crashing on their couch and they were cool with it. Well after the dance we couldn't get a hold of the guys and it was two in the morning so we decide to just let him crash on our couch.
It had to be one of the most rebellious things we had ever done. (I know we're real wild ones aren't we) He stayed for two nights and we had a blast. He gave us a lot of insight on the male gender and we answered some of his questions about women. Now bear in mind that four of us have never had a boyfriend, never actually kissed a boy (unless you count second grade) and two of us have never gotten past the first date so having a man (unrelated to us) in our apartment using our shower and walking around in his pajamas was kinda uncharted territory for some of us. (At least he was wearing pants)
And finally finishing up "front row weirdy" went two weeks ignoring me and today, the last day of class, (we have our final tomorrow morning) he decides to talk to me again and he smelled nice and he was sitting quite close and I got a nice glimpse of his biceps, and I'll probably never have a class with him again. I had almost given up on the whole thing and then he goes and notices I exist again. Will I ever understand men?
