I hate homecoming week.
I hate the homecoming dance and the football game and the posters it's all just a bunch of crap.
So "front row weirdy" didn't talk to me the next day in class or the day after and it crushed me. I asked the guy friend I mentioned and you know what his response was? "He probably likes you and is just being inconsistent classic guy" so I asked why men have to be so confusing and how I can make them not be confusing or make it so I'm not confused and this was his response. "Guys are confusing because were dumb that's why. Were simplistic, we don't always think before we do things and the way to get them to stop being confusing is to just ask them straight out what they want" It didn't help.
So tonight I'm sitting home with one of my other roommates and watching chick flicks because we don't have dates to the dance. See I didn't hate dances so much in high school because I was anti social and didn't have friends. Half the time I didn't even know there was a dance and I knew the reason guys didn't ask me was because I didn't talk to them, they didn't know me (and I was told that I was intimidating though I don't know how. If you ask my friends now if I'm intimidating they would laugh at you). It's totally different now because I do have friends who get asked to the dances and I help them get ready and listen to them when they talk about the amazing guys they went out with. Also I do talk to guys and they still don't ask me to dances or out on dates really. Not to mention I have been extremely emotional today and the stupidest little things make me cry.
OK, I just had to rant and the Internet seems like the best place to do it.
Well my life is pretty boring but I do have my moments and I want to write them down so I can go back and laugh at them later.

Crushes and forks
Today was AWESOME.
I have been a little confused with men lately (particularly the weirdy who sits next to me on the front row in my math class). One day he'll talk to me and then the next day nothing. I considered talking to a guy friend and asking for his superior knowledge of the male gender. Then I thought I might try striking up a conversation with "front row weirdy" (he has started all conversations before and a roommate pointed out that maybe he was waiting for me to start one).
So waiting for class to start I chickened out and he didn't speak to me. I'll admit I was bummed and I went through the entire class kinda moping and when class ended I got up and left as usual. I was surprised when he was walking behind me (he usually takes longer to leave class because he likes to talk to the teacher about things he doesn't understand) this is the second time this has happened the entire semester. The first time I was walking next to my friend and I didn't know if I should look back and say hi to "front row weirdy" and then he was gone and yeah. Today I didn't have my friend with me and when I noticed "front row weirdy" I somehow got up the courage to say hey. He walked me home and we talked about the last math test and our roommates and stuff.
I still don't understand men but I figured I'd wait till tomorrow and see what happens in math class. I'm worried that nothing will happen but I have a back up plan. I can still ask my guy friend for his help with understanding the inner workings of the male brain.
And on to the forks. The guy friend with the superior male knowledge (on anything male that is) hit me with a fork because I criticized his acting. We have a love hate relationship.
Just thought I'd share.
